Conde Nast Traveller names Sri Lanka as the second-best country to travel in 2020
1 min readSri Lanka is ranked as the second-best country to travel in 2020 by the readers of popular United States (US) travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller, although the country has closed the doors for foreign travelers since March due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Sri Lanka received a sore of 93.6 average satisfaction of the readers while Italy secured top spot with a score of 94.05. In 2019 edition, Sri Lanka was ranked at the fourth spot with a score of 91.79
The Travel Magazine also named Sri Lankan Airlines among the top airlines to fly.
“It’s a top choice for travelers headed not only to the island nation it calls home, but to destinations in the region like the Maldives, where it’s the largest foreign airline.
With a fleet of 26 planes, it’s not huge, but more passengers are discovering it, thanks to its membership in the Oneworld alliance.” Conde Nast Traveller noted.
