Sri Lanka’s FX reserves down to $5.5B in November

Sri Lanka’s gross official reserves fell by $ 306.4 million to $ 5,549.3 million at the end of November from $ 5,855.7 million reported at the end of the previous month, the Central Bank (CB) data showed.
By the end of November, the country’s FX reserves included $ 5.1 billion in foreign currency, $382.7 million in Gold whilst the reserve position in the IMF was $ 68.4 million.
The CB expects foreign currency outflows worth of $5.97 billion in debt servicing within the next one year period.
