The official meeting between Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Chinese President Xi Jinping was held at the Chinese People\u2019s Hall. A very proud welcome ceremony was organized with a parade, and the Chinese President welcomed President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, and after a cordial conversation between the leaders of the two countries, bilateral discussions began. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chinese President said that he is ready to work together with Sri Lanka for a new era of development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recalling the long-term relationship between China and Sri Lanka, Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that he is ready to cooperate with Sri Lanka in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the official meeting, several memorandums of understanding related to economic and social fields were also signed between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake paid floral tributes to the monument of Ma Osetung, the founder of the People\u2019s Republic of China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
