The delegation included Mr Christiaan Goeman Borgesius, Senior Director \u2013 RME Operations; Mr Jubil Thankachan, Director of Marine Operations \u2013 RME Operations; and Mr Lloyd De Villers, Director of Procurement. They were accompanied by officers from Hapag-Lloyd\u2019s local agent and met with senior management of the SLPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representing the SLPA were Chairman Admiral Sirimewan Ranasinghe (Rtd), Vice Chairman Eng. Herath M. P. Jayawardhana, Managing Director Eng. Ganaka Hemachandra, Director of Marketing &amp; Business Development Mr U. Kumara, and Director (acting) Operations&nbsp; Mr. Pradeep Perera. The meeting focused on ongoing developments at the ports and discussed ways to improve operations and expand capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hapag-Lloyd delegation commended the SLPA for its ongoing efforts to develop the ports and emphasised the value of a long-term, reliable partnership.
