The airline\u2019s next official stop is Sri Lanka, where it is hosting roadshows in Colombo on May 19-20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Experienced technicians may attend the Colombo session, where Emirates\u2019 recruiters will outline details of the role, remuneration, benefits and life in Dubai. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with the airline\u2019s engineers to gain practical insights into working life, career progression and professional development within Emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At Emirates, aircraft technicians carry out maintenance on the airline\u2019s and third-party aircraft under the guidance of licensed aircraft engineers. An approved apprenticeship in commercial aircraft maintenance or any equivalent and at least 5 years of experience are required for the role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
