The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (SLEDB) recently unveiled a specially branded Airbus A321 Neo aircraft of Sri Lankan Airlines, liveried with the \u2018Sri Lanka Expo 2027\u2019 brand identity, to promote \u2018Sri Lanka Expo 2027\u2019 \u2013 the country\u2019s premier international exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Expo will comprehensively showcase Sri Lanka\u2019s diverse export sectors, including agriculture, Industrial, manufacturing, export services, innovation, and tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The special event held to mark the departure of the newly branded aircraft was attended by EDB Chairman\/CEO Mangala Wijesinghe, Director General Erandika Dissanayake, Director Export Services and Project Lead of Sri Lanka Expo 2027 Indumini Kodikara, Consultant Coordinator of Sri Lanka Expo 2027 Anoma Premathilake, and a number of officials from Sri Lankan Airlines. Operating under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, the SLEDB will organize the \u2018Sri Lanka Expo 2027\u2019 international exhibition from 14 th to 17 th January 2027 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This landmark event is strategically designed to position Sri Lanka as a vital trade and investment hub within the South Asian region. The exhibition is poised to host over 750 prominent exhibitors and welcome more than 1,500 international buyers and investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to the main exhibition, the event will feature an array of parallel high-level forums, including a dedicated Investment Forum, industry-specific sessions, and structured B2B matchmaking meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To provide a holistic experience of Sri Lanka\u2019s economic<\/a> and cultural dynamism, the event will also feature fashion shows, culinary shows, and rich cultural performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The newly branded Airbus A321 Neo will fly across Sri Lankan Airlines\u2019 key operational regions \u2013 including India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Maldives, Malaysia, Kuwait, and Thailand -carrying the \u2018Sri Lanka Expo 2027\u2019 brand to travellers and the trading community across these regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
