Russia will increase the number of regular flights to Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Japan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, Bahrein starting October 5, and to Sri Lanka starting November 4, Russian State-owned TASS News Agency Reported.

Russia’s anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters last week that the country is increasing the number of regular flights to Sri Lanka starting November 4 between Moscow and Colombo (up to 2 flights per week).

Sri Lanka welcomed 949 Russian tourists up to the end of August this year.

Russian travelers are among the most price-conscious travelers globally with health and safety factors being less important.
