National Integrity Week launched at NAITA Ampara District Office

The National Integrity Week programme was inaugurated at the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) Ampara District Office in Sainthamaruthu under the theme “A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka.”

The inaugural ceremony was held under the patronage of Mohan Abeysundara, Ampara District Manager of NAITA, with H.Abdul Sathar, Chairman of NAITA, attending as the Chief Guest.

All officers and staff attached to the Ampara District Office participated in the event.  The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by a pledge taken by all officers to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, accountability, transparency, and dedication in the public service in line with the theme “A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka.”

During his address, the Chief Guest provided a detailed explanation of the 10 key priority areas identified under the Clean Sri Lanka 2026 National Programme and outlined the objectives expected to be achieved through its implementation.

Addressing the gathering, H.Abdul Sathar emphasized that every public servant has a vital role to play in building a clean, disciplined, and responsible Sri Lanka. He further highlighted the importance of fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and excellence in public service within government institutions. He also stressed the need for all stakeholders to work collectively to successfully implement the objectives of the Clean Sri Lanka National Programme.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment by all participants to work together towards achieving the vision of “A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka,” while contributing to the creation of a cleaner environment, a disciplined society, and responsible citizens as part of the country’s national development journey.
