Sri Lankan customers will soon have access to the XPENG L03, the intelligent electric Coupe SUV that has made automotive history with its simultaneous global launch across China, Europe, and 64 international markets in a single day. Introduced to the local market by Evolution Auto (Pvt) Ltd., the authorised distributor of XPENG in Sri Lanka, the L03 brings one of the world’s newest smart electric vehicles to local roads, with pre-orders now open.    

Developed for international markets from the outset, the launch represents a significant milestone for XPENG as it broadens its global footprint. The XPENG L03 was designed under the direction of internationally renowned automotive designer JuanMa Lopez, whose portfolio includes Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, Genesis, and SEAT. His design expertise is reflected in the vehicle’s sporty fastback styling, sleek Coupe SUV silhouette, and aerodynamic profile with an ultra-low drag coefficient of just 0.228 Cd.    

Powered by an advanced electric drivetrain delivering up to 600 km of driving range (NEDC), 264 Nm of maximum torque, a top speed of 180 km/h, and a compact 10.5-metre turning circle, the XPENG L03 has been engineered to deliver an engaging driving experience while maximizing efficiency.    

Inside, the XPENG L03 features a technology-focused cabin centred around a 15.6-inch intelligent touchscreen and a 26.8-inch head-up display. It also provides XPILOT intelligent driving assistance, adaptive cruise control, lane centring control, automated parking assistance, a 360-degree surround-view camera, smart voice control, and over-the-air software updates that keep the vehicle up to date.      

The premium interior experience is enhanced by a panoramic Starship glass roof, heated and ventilated front seats with memory functions, 256-colour ambient lighting, the XPENG XOPERA nine-speaker surround sound system, and versatile 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats for everyday practicality.  

The XPENG L03 continues to prioritize safety. The vehicle has two five-star safety certifications from C-NCAP, Euro NCAP, and ANCAP safety engineering standards. It also has seven airbags, a high-strength body structure, driver monitoring technology, forward collision prevention, blind spot detection, and lane keeping assistance.
